Teflon Hose Construction
Smoothbore TRUE BORE PTFE hose is constructed with an extruded Virgin
fluoropolymer (PTFE) innercore reinforced with a tightly woven stainless steel
braid. The braid serves a dual purpose, by (a) providing a protective covering
and (b) allowing the hose to carry substantial operational pressure while
maintaining a 4:1 safety factor
Teflon Hose Temperature Range:
-360°F to +450°F ( -180°C to +232°C) - All Ratings Based Upon 72°F
(22°C). NOTE: Working pressures may vary depending on end connections.
